Dear Matt,

I have just come from a game in Estonia where we had a County as the area, with one central town and several smaller ones but all forming one administrative unit. As Nick said it can indeed be played about a site, a neighbourhood, a city district etc. We have tried all version here in Estonia, and they work equally well.

Thanks for the comment, Matt.

I think the Future City Games could easily be applied at any scale from heighbourhood upwards - and possibly even at the individual site level with a little tweaking.

Really, the concept behind the Games - creatively addressing global challenges at the local level - can (and should!) be used at any spatial scale.

Hi Nick,

Very interesting, have seen these games advertised but unsure of how much use they would b. Is there a particular scale of area that it suits? I.e. does it have to be a city or region or could the game be applied to neighbourhood / district?

Cheers
